Alpaca Mark

The IAA promotes and protects the image of alpaca fibre and its derivatives through the dissemination and proper use of Alpaca Mark, which is owned by the IAA.

Alpaca Mark is a collective brand intended to distinguish textile products made with alpaca fibre. It holds international recognition and has been registered since 1984 in more than 30 countries (Peru, Japan, the United Kingdom, the United States, and countries of the European Union) in two categories: Alpaca Origin Mark and Alpaca Blend Mark.

ALPACA ORIGIN MARK

Alpaca Origin Mark is intended to distinguish textile products with a 100% alpaca fibre content.

ALPACA BLEND MARK

Since 1984

Alpaca Blend Mark is intended to distinguish textile products with a minimum of 30% alpaca fibre in blends with other fibre.
