Alpaca Exports 2025

According to the latest 2025 Annual Report of the Alpaca Line prepared by Promperú, exports of alpaca products in Peru reached a total of US$238 million during 2025, growing by 6.5% compared to 2024. 

This growth is explained by an increase in shipments in the Tops (+15.2%) and Yarn (+6.0%) sub-lines, which offset declines in exports of Fiber (-16.7%), Fabric (-11.9%), and Home Textiles (-12.1%) compared to 2024. 

Our top 10 destinations were China (US$68 million), the United States (US$57 million), Italy (US$47 million), Sweden (US$9 million), Germany (US$7 million), Norway (US$6 million), the United Kingdom (US$6 million), Denmark (US$4 million), the Republic of Korea (US$4 million), and Canada (US$3 million); which together account for approximately 89% of total alpaca product exports. los cuales concentran aproximadamente el 89% de las exportaciones totales de productos de alpaca.
