Bruno has over two decades of experience working in the alpaca value chain across various business categories, ranging from the yarn division, machine and hand knitting, retail, and e-commerce, to woven fabrics at the Michell Group. With a background in economics, business administration, and retail management, Bruno has served as a research assistant for the Peruvian Institute of Economics (IPE), the Development Bank of Latin America (CAF), and the Institute for Free Market Economics, contributing to the development of ideas that promote and defend free-market principles.
In 1998 and 2000, he received a scholarship from the Iacocca Institute to join the selective program “Global Village for the Future Leaders of Business and Industry” at Lehigh University in Pennsylvania. In 2016, Harvard Business School’s FIELD Global Immersion program selected one of Bruno’s new retail projects as among the most compelling to be developed in Peru. He currently works for the Michell Group and serves on boards both in Peru and abroad.
